 I didn't know Sean ( JawnyRico), as I've been away from DPC for a while. Looking through his profile, he took some amazing photographs and was a big part of the DPC community. My condolences to his family & friends. R.I.P. Sean. Happy Trails.

Shot in manual mode to get the exposure I wanted. That's my camping / horseback riding gear. In case anyone is wondering, the gun is real (.357 magnum).

My 1st time playing with studio lighting. Got some free used lighting equipment from a friend who's company bought all new equipment and was throwing away the fully functional (but old) stuff. Scene was lit with 3 lights: 2 Photogenic 150w modeling lights (one with an umbrella), and a Novatron 220 strobe.

You might want to load the boot bullets the other way, you're less likely to lose them!

Good composition. Much too posed for my taste, though, and color too green for my subjective taste.

Nice and neat and tidy! :-) The bullets laid out so neatly really make this feel extremely contrived and void of emotive value. JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge.
