So I put my camera bag in the car this morning, weather looks good. I have my zoom lens, tripod etc etc ... off to the park at lunch time ... no memory card, Doh!! At least I had my trusty p&s with me, the swans were out of the lake and didn't mind me getting too close to them to take this shot :)

What houses would they be then, lol ;o)

I've done that before! That's why I never trash talk the p&s's, they always seem to have a good use. I like the poses and the look on the far swans face. I think I'm missing something with the comment about the houses!

Very nice horizontals and verticals. Placement of the 2 swans and the near and far segments/stripes of grass! Nice coordinating greens of trees and grass. (I think I would crop out tree on left and the foregrass up about an inch, just to make the most of the good compositional elements you already have).

What houses inded! Nice clone job. I might also consider a slight levels adjustment to enhance the blacks a bit and make the beak detail pop.

Very nice shot of two beautiful creatures. I'm suprised they let you get so close, the ones around here are very skittish and take off when your anywhere withing 30 feet of them!

Nice that they let you get close; I bet they were hoping for a handout.

I think I'd clone out those bits of houses and enhance the impression of wildness.

Tough luck with the memory card but this turned out nicely, great perspective!
