I used a LOT of healing and liquify on this image!

The earring is supposed to be the focus of the image.

Hmmm, I am wondering why you wanted to have the main focus of your composition the earring...is it perhaps you were creating a modern day portrait of Vermeer's Girl With the Pearl Earring? I really like the closer crop for the main subject now dominates the composition drawing the viewer in closer to observe & appreciate the details. Excellent job in 'reconstructing' the earring in nice sharp detail - the original has the bottom portion blurred. Skin tones on the subject are lovely but because the backdrop has a similar hue range it does not allow her profile to truly visually pop off the background. A darker backdrop before the shoot or darkening the backdrop with PP would really make the profile of her face pop off the page.

Fantastic crop. I'm not so sure the earring commands the attention. It's a toss up between the earrings, the beautiful green eye, or the lips. I think the eye and the lips grab the attention from the earring. And you know what, in my mind that is perfectly great considering how beautiful your eye and lips are.

Great crop on this, and I like the overall softness. It's a very striking portrait, and nicely different from the usual fare.

I think her eye catches my attention more than the earring - BUT I LOVE the crop... what a difference a crop makes!

That's really pretty. Part if high key, part is not. Incredible eyes. Love the vertical line of your earring. Nicely done.

The high key treatment and smoothing of the healing brush took this shot up a level or two. It's an image that I just had to stop and take in for about a minute as I looked thru all the little details in it. It's a splendid SP.

I like the image and the lighting. I like the position of your body but I think you should have turned your head towards the camera some. Also females should tilt the chin down some to show natural curves. You know normally I wouldn't be saying any of this but I have been reading a how to shoot portriats book lately and it has a ton of how you should's hahahaha Sorry.

Over all it is a nice smooth image and the focus is great on the earring.
