 end of day shot. small stainless (mostly) steel. it was raining.
Irfanview: no crop, slight contrast adjustment, switch green and red colours (often do this for Irf bw conversions), convert to greyscale, about 3 passes of low USM, scale, 2 more (shameless) passes.

Maybe too abstract; certainly not quite what I was trying for, and will try for again.

Gorrrrrgeous contrasts. You ought to ask around if something like this would work in that High Contrast challenge (I'd tell you but I am still trying to find a definition lol). This is an awesome abstract. The splashes of water really define this photo. Great job!

Really cool abstract feel to this. You're doing wonders with such a reflective object. I on the other hand am struggling with that. Well done.

Circles and blobs (water) really works for me. Light to dark transitions makes for some interesting shapes too.

Without knowing this was a colander, I wouldn't recognize it, but I like this just as a very nice B&W photo.
