 This is John and Colin who decided to run the Cork marathon three legged. And if being tied together at the ankles and wrists for 42km isn't enough they also set a new world record with a time of - 3:25.20!!
This was also my first time using manual focus for action photos. My aperture was set for individual runners so unfortunately the guy on the left is a little out of focus.

nice subject for the challenge...I wish the composition was more interesting though.....maybe a longer shooting distance showing them in a curve with some nice perspective.

With this being an advanced editing challenge, I would have been tempted to clone out the pointing hand from behind 1579's head, and also the spare head on 1578's shoulder. Without your title, I may not have noticed the rope between their hands. Nonetheless a good image which shows their relief at finishing!!

The blurry right hand of #1579 detracts, as does the index finger pointing it out so well. Strange type of race, where people are tied together while running!
