the egg looks so clean and crisp against the bg which actually works very nicely! the DOF is great b/c it keeps the egg in sharp while falling off to a nice boke on the well chosen bg. that is a bit overworded for me, but the java hasnt kicked in yet...
short form: "nicely done, the egg and the bg work well together & that DOF fits perfectly"
geesh!

| Cool texture and color, good DOF. I think the bit of glare is a problem, you might try diffusing the light. |

| I like the mild texture of the background contrasting with the egg speckles. Great detail. Thumbnail doesn't do it justice. ;) |

| When viewing the thumbnail I wasn't expecting much as the composition is overly centered...but detail and use of DoF is quite exceptional! |

| Cool egg, certainly different than we have here. Good texture and colors. This may have worked well on a black cloth also. |

| Very good detail in that shell and I like the softness at the edges. One suggestion - clone or "heal" the little white spots to keep the homogenous surface if you'd like. |

it's straight out of the egg carton, only adjusted the levels and sharpened.
brown or black hens lay brown coloured eggs I think... |
