WOW really cool the exposure & focus on the shot of just the rope is amazing. Did you do that noose yourself? I wish I knew how. Maybe I'll google it. Very, Very clever story with the diptych too.

Technically, I think these are great photos. Good lighting and composition. The face is perfect with the props. Emotionally, it's a bummer for me to see. If this were on a card I'd never buy it. I'm too involved with my pets I think lol.

He's a nice model, looks a little grumpy, but who wouldn't in this kind of situation? Nice combination of two photos.

This is great. Does the noose work with cats too?... ;-)

This is awesome! Poor puppy, hope he/she learned its lesson. I like the side by side image of the noose and puppy-in-noose, helps convey what is around his neck better since he has so much fur hiding the loop.

The exposure on the rope only shot is great, nice colors and the rope really pops out. On the dog, the rope seems a little overexposed and the dog's face a little underexposed. Would like to be able to see his eyes a little clearer.

A very strong 'emotive' opening statement here, but a great idea, and very well taken photograph that speaks without words. Very clever, and very well executed. He is such a cute dog, and love that cute look he is giving us.

Love the detail in both shots. The only thing to make it better would have to have the dog on a chair, but as I type this I realize just how dangerous that would have been. Hopefully he got the message anyway. Also, the expression on the dogs face is perfect.
