 So I found this mask this morning while cleaning out my closet. I thought I had thrown it away. I had the peacock feathers from a recent photoshoot, so I decided to hot glue the feathers on to the mask. I like the result. I had Nicki lay down and wrapped her with green silky fabric. I really liked it until I decided to try black and white. I liked it even more. It is not quite as baroque as I wanted it to be...I was going for a Venice Carnival type look. But I noticed that very few people were submitting into this challenge so I decided to go for it.


WOW....a blue and a personnel best for me. This image started at a 5.7 when voting began....then just kept going up. A fun ride to watch. Thanks all so much.

Stunning! Can you also post the color version? I think this is amazing in B&W, but would love to see the color of the feathers and the silk. Congrats!

I think this image sneaks up on the viewer - the silky frame, the beautiful hair, the mysterious eyes. Definitely makes the eyes dizzyingly happy.

BFC: Amazing work here, the sharpening on her eyes works so well here; pulls you right into the shot. Lighting, composition and post work are all spot on. Well done, 10 from this voter.

I wasn't planning to vote on this challenge until I saw this entry. I find it breathtaking. The black and white really sets off the contrast between the mask and her skin. I find the model alluring yet mysterious.

However I do see a few things I don't like in this image. The first I notice is the part of the feather going over her forehead. The reflection of her left eye (---> in image) looks soft and also her hair seems slightly soft.

Still I love it.
