 I used a cup with chips and played Cinderella to keep my subject entertained while I got the shot I needed. I used my 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 lens because it has the better aperture of my lenses at a high zoom point and I wanted depth. I used my external flash and bounced it off the ceiling.

I used Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 to edit the shot. I created a layer off the original and changed it to grayscale. I then dragged it over the color one and used the eraser tool on the areas I wanted in color.

This is my first entry and 1st time using layers…please go easy on me.
