I like the character, the angle, and the lighting of this portrait. I think it would have been very interesting without the heavy PP. As is, I find the PP distracting. |

I have mixed feelings about this... my first reaction was "scary" .. I think it would work much better in b&w with all the highlight/shadow editing done to it.. just my humble opinion |

A good honest capture, but the processing strikes me as a bit harsh. |

Too sharp, very unflattering. Roughness has become the subject. |

Tone mapping if that is what this is should really be used spareingly. His face looks oversaturated and has a drama that is not supported by the pose. |

It's always difficult to tell with your own image whether or not you've taken the post-processing too far - for me the HDR treatment is really overdone and gives the image a very unnatural feel. |

I believe this is oversharpened. |

Hey good subject, fine shot, good comp - but for me you've overdone the effect! |

Great shot. Much character in the face. The skin looks slightly unnatural-- possibly oversharpened? (still a great shot, just strikes me as a little over-textured) |

Overprocessed. It would have been better left natural. |

I think the HDR look is a little much in this image. It's almost scary. |
