This bridge was damaged during the February floods in far north Queensland. It is part of the sugar cane infrastructure to rail cane to the mills, many cane farmers have to pay at a cost for the cane this year to be road hauled out of this area.
Taken hand held, as we were on the main road. 6.47am

I really like the light and color tones of this, but I will agree that perhaps a different composition would have given it more photographic impact. I do appreciate you sharing the story behind it!

This picture doesn't seem to have a main subject. My eye wanders all over it. None of the items is particularly attractive or photogenic.

Nice tonal range, interesting lighting. The blue of the water looks a little too blue to my eye, but my main complaint is the bridge: A) it bisects the scene too close to dead center, and B) it covers the shoreline in the background, which would be a nice area to see, the shore meeting the water and all.

the composition is really messy and it lacks creativity...try a different composition...
