I'm not sure I recognize the object as being boat related but that could be my lack of knowledge of boats. The shot itself is rather pleasing in a quiet sort of way, and has excellent color and detail.

Looks well-used with all those scratches.

Shot feels busy to me. It's actually kind of fun to crop it down to just a bit of boat and the plant in front because it looks like a giant tongue licking the plant, but I'm not sure how that would play in a Boat challenge ;-) I might try some different angles or crops to see if that made it less busy, but that's me.

This photo is very odd... the tree, the POV, etc. It looks like a quick snapshot.

The tree in the background is a wee bit of a distraction for me but the plant in the foregrown works well

Could be my cheap laptop screen, but colors look too cool to me, I do like the composition.
