I'm sorry if this offends... It's just nature, really. See the beauty in this, if you can. It really is miraculous and awe-inspiring to watch.
I hope to show you the result in about a year. :)
Crop, various mix of... contrast, Lucis Arts, resize, NI, saturation, burn fence, third horse, and privates (to draw less attention to it... I did try. *smile*), Curves, border, sharpen, save for web.
POST edit: Thank you for your comments. I appreciate them all... even the ones who think this is inappropriate. But, really... This is as natural to horses as drinking water, and we wouldn't have a problem viewing that, huh? It's not "inappropriate" to them. It's life. They're not at all embarrassed. It's our own humanness that puts the "dirty" in it.
That said, I certainly would not want to watch or photograph anyone's parents in the act as has been suggested. *grin*
I'm not saying I'm entirely comfortable watching the horses or photographing it, but I do think it's beautiful.
BTW, I checked with site council before entering this because I was concerned about the "no genitalia" rule... but it applies only to humans... just in case you're wondering.
I was quite happy to have lost the bet with Ecce Signum and others on this challenge to raise money for cancer charity.

In all honesty, that's not a bad finish for an image you thought may offend some. Just goes to show that a lot of folk thought it was pretty cool. 125 votes of 5 and above, compared to only 32 of 4 and below. Nice going :) |

I gave this a 7 and saw in it what it seems you did (after reading your comments). Difficult to leave the comment I want without puns, but .. the muscle definition in his body is amazing and well captured, coupled with the shadows over his body and the movement of his tail and the general intensity. Well done for obviously an isolated location where you didn't have much time to 'set up'. |

Hey, what happened to the "no genitalia" rule? LOL It reaally is sort of majestic. Beautifully lit. |

I suspect this was taken in less than ideal lighting. |

I'm laughing to hard to comment further. Looks like a painting one might see in an old west brothel..;P |

wow! How could you not leave a comment here? About a half dozen really bad puns come to mind, but I'll have to just bite my lip... I do kinda get a kick out of her general demeanor... "are ya done yet?". |

that's an act IMO shouldn't be photographed (and I won't base my vote on that opinion), but other than that, great job post processing |

While animals having sex is perfectly natural, I don't know that the mass majority of voters with see this as 'majestic'. Although I could be wrong. |

well apart the little smile for the scene, the shadow of the plants paint the body of the male horse and it seems really an expression of power. |

my parents having sex is natural (though maybe not majestic) but that does not mean it would make an appealing picture /4 |

Good picture, though I imagine the content won't sit well with most DPCers. |

I find this rather overprocessed and the shadows on the stallion's back rather distracting.
That said it does show his muscles rather like a sculpture. |
