not very curvy, would have liked to see colour here - subject not dramatic enough fot B&W - just my thoughts

seems a tad soft.

It seems like the lighting is a bit harsh and some areas are washed out and out of focus. The shot would be more interesting if the details in the roots were available.

Yu've lost a bit of focus in the top left corner. Otherwise pretty good.

I would have voted higher on this if it were a bit clearer. I love all the twists and turns.

Were you moving while you took this one? It's an interesting shot, though.

If you pulled the shot down a bit to capture the complete curve of the roots along the bottom I'd like this a lot more!

Gratuitous use of black and white hasnt covered up the fact parts of the subject are out of focus. Good subject matter.

Very cool looking roots. Blurry on purpose?

bizarre plant. focus is soft on root tendrils . i would have preferred them sharp and the stump softer instead of the opposite.

This is a very interesting photograph. The only thing that is keeping me from scoring higher is the focus...

I would have liked this better in color

I don't think B/W fits this photograph. I would've like to have seen the color of the roots and dirt(i think).

Unusual but a very good interpretation.

Interesting subject. Composition needs some work, as you've cut off the bigger, more interesting roots
