When You asked how I've been here without you
I'd like to say I've been fine and I do.
But we both know the truth is hard to come by
And if I told the truth that's not quite true

Some days are diamonds some days are stones
Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone
Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones
Some days are diamonds some days are stones.

Now the face that I see in my mirror
More and more is a stranger to me
More and more I can see there's a danger
In becoming what I never thought I'd be

Some days are diamonds some days are stones
Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone
Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones
Some days are diamonds some days are stones.

Some days are diamonds some days are stones
Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone
Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones
Some days are diamonds some days are stones.

This is my 07 Honda Pilot after being hit onside head on. I crawled out and only have a hairline fracture in my wrist!! It did it's job.

I'm a claims adjuster, and it always amazes me when people say "they just don't make them like they used to." It's a good thing they don't and you are the proof. Amazing to walk away from something like that. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Sweet mother - that is really crunched up. It's amazing you came out of it fairly unscathed, Judy. This image is making my hair rise. Good thing this was a head-on, so the seat belt and air bag could do their job.

GOD I can just hear that terrible horrific sound of ripping and grinding metal
the busting glass
it seems to take forever but then
is over
in a flash

I guess life can be like that too...

so glad you are here to tell us about it
you are a diamond Judy!

ps GO HONDA!!! (I have the Odyssey-hope it works as well as the Pilot!)

Geez... That car was made well to protect you. So glad you weren't injured more severely.

You were one lucky bird. That was some scary jolt! Thank goodness nothing major happened to you.

Glad to hear you're ok, and hope that your wrist is feeling better soon.

Oh my GOSH! This takes my breath away at how lucky we are to still have you! I can't believe you aren't laid up in a hospital in intensive care -- or even still here after a wreck like that.

What a trauma! I'm traumatized just looking at this, My guess is a wreck like this years ago before air bags and newer safety measures, this story would have had a much sadder ending!!!

In a way. . .I'm looking at today as a diamond!
