I'm an old surfer so this photo grabbed my eye right off. Unfortunately, there are too many technical issues for it to score highly with me.
The main issues are the tilt of the horizon and the too soft focus. The sun's reflection on the water is nice. It gives the image a very warm feeling.
It looks like someone was having fun though, and it does bring back nice memories, so I'll give it a 7. |

| Interesting. Not sure if it's my definition of dappled light. Also, the composition looks a little too accidental. |

| Your work is apparent. this however is not dappling. It is also a bit blown out by the sun.Your surfer is also a bit OOF. |

| Not a dappled light, not focused and not level... In spite of some action and sense of decisive moment, I can't rate it very high, sorry :) |

| This is not dappled light in my opinion - dappled light is light shining through several small apertures, functioning as pinhole cameras, creating circular images on the ground. Sorry, did not vote on this one. |
