Wow, lovely detal. Great model. The sky is boring, but with this kind of colourful object it makes a perfect background. I like the way you focused on its eyes. Good composition. Very, very nice.

This is not dappled light in my opinion - dappled light is light shining through several small apertures, functioning as pinhole cameras, creating circular images on the ground. Sorry, did not vote on this one.
