Great decision to include the tree in the foreground. Not only does it drive the viewer's eye to your subject but it also adds a nice sense if depth to your image.

A thighter crop without the tree on left side would be much better IMHO !

This photograph has a lot of contrast. The grayscale seems to have lost the dappled light though.
