Oh dear, this image screams for selective editing. This is the best I could get out of the RAW file and basic editing.

I made another attempt today, two days later, which resulted in technically superior pictures, but they lacked the impact of this scenery so I stuck with this one. It's one of the parks on the University of Kent campus.

The camera was attached to the bike's pedal area with a Joby Gorillapod, the shutter is released with a radio controlled remote which I hold in my right hand. And then it's just downhill from there, as I can't pedal with that setup.

For the second attempt I managed to reduce camera shake by attaching the gorillapod slightly differently, and improved the lighting by putting a flash underneath the seat to fill the shadows.

Spectacular shot. I'm not sure I'd try this with a gorillapod, but the shot's definitely sweet.

I dont think i would ever trust my camera (or my biking skills) on my gorillapod on a pedal of a moving bike. "I love your balls"... nice result! :)

The angle of the photograph is nice but it the bottom corners shoul be cropped out. The vivd colors and the sun in the frame make the picture stronger.

perhaps a bit over-saturated? regardless, solid idea and execution of a unique point of view.

Strapped camera? Whatever that is, it has a great effect.

Great shot! I've had my eye on a fisheye lens for a while and this may push me over the edge to get one. The effect you've captured is great.

Great colour and composition. Love the frame of the bike being in focus. PERFECT shutter speed for what you were aiming for. Would have probably cropped out the corners.
