This is probally, no def. too contrasted. It needs to be toned down a bit. But i see from the title you already knew that :D

Nothing some WD-40 can't fix.

Gotta give you some points here. I'm not sure if those point are for creativity or sheer chutzpah for entering this. I do like it, though I am not sure everyone will. It's got an interesting angle and texutres. Oh, yea, also that nice oversaturated red.

grainy, oversaturated, and dying bike is right. I don't see the boy... I can only guess that would be the photographer. I can see some work went into this, but stating what I would consider flaws doesn't really pick it as a clear winner for me. Like the composition.
