 I hope this is considered soft focus. I just used a very shallow DOF and didn't do any sharpening.

PP: crop, noise reduction, shadows/highlights, color balance, levels, resize, border, save for web.

I always love passifloras.I tried to grow some before, but failed miserably. Lovely angle and a beautiful softness to the photo. Actually surprised this did not do better. Cheers.

A nice enough image but I wonder if it would have been better if you had moved the leaves that partially obscure the flower.

Such a cool and freaky looking flower. Nice colors and it works pretty well soft, but at the same time I crave to see the head super sharp as it blends into the bokeh background. That of course wouldnt score as well so I do believe you made the right choice. ;)
