This throws me a bit off base - I'm looking for the color and it's nowhere to be found. This has so much texture with the color stripped away. |

Pretty stunning in B&W. I love how it really brings out the texture once you take away the color. Very nice! |

Doesn't have that In-Your-Face impact of the color version, but in many ways, it's actually more interesting. |

When the color is removed, the subject is no longer color, and the shapes are now the subject. I love the composition of the image. |

I like the color version better but I do like this as it provides a different focus than you normally have when viewed in color. In this you are more drawn to the patterns and implied lines drawing you to the head of the peacock. A great study of how perception is altered when color is removed and doesn't overpower composition. |
