Looks kinda painful. You could have photoshopped a big hole in it and then it would have been a "holey mackerel)

its a brilliant photograph and love your process .. its particularly gruesome because as lisa said it looks like its screaming in pain .. they say fish dont feel pain .. i wonder .. :)
