You're amazing. I LOVE that you don't edit photos like most people do. You're going to my favorite photographer list.

Hey, what is this picture doing way down here? It was my favorite- Should be in the top three at least! I was willing to overlook the funny stuff around their heads and still give it a 10.

I'm not sure where this is from, but I've seen many scenes like this on TV and always felt like they make the most poignant statement about the poverty and inequality in the world... the poor fossicking through the things the wealthy discard just to get by. The depth of feeling in your photo is astonishing. 10 - lisae

I guess I don't get the title, but that's ok, cause as long as I get the photo, that's what counts, right? Definately trash related, and there s definately something going on in the shot. Not JUST a photo of garbage. The angle and framing/cropping are good. Lighting is nice for the shot as well. I like the overall feel of this photo. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~

Great composition and good lighting, too. Unfortunately this photo suffers from bad JPEG compression. You can see that by the strange pixels e.g. around the two people. Remember, your photo can be as big as 150 kB. But it's still a great photo. -stephan

Good composition with the focus clearly on the two figures and the garbage--the strength of the subjects overcomes the small technical problems andrewm

I don't like the colors, Looks like it's in squiggle vision.

too bad the jpeg compression shows so badly - try less compression/higher quality setting and this would look even better. would have been cool for "negative space", too.

I think your photo is a good one. If it could be done I had probably lowered the camera to view more garbage. But it´s as you know just a matter of taste. Well, I looked again and maybe your solution is better than mine. I changed the score +1.

I love the composition of this shot, and the human interest and sense of scale provided by the people in the shot. The area around them is very JPEG artifacty, though - it doesn't look as though you are anywhere near the 150K limit, so perhaps you could tweak your JPEG quality settings?

Over-sharpened. JPEG artifacts very pronounced. (4)

This shot is well-composed. The only problem I see if there are lots of JPG artifacts in the image. It look s very overcompressed. I see the size is under 40K. You will do better if you optimize your photos as close to 150K as possible. There have been some forum threads on how to do this if you wanna search; or you can PM me and I can try to help. 5, just-married (would have been a 7-8 without jpg issues.)
