CRITIQUE CLUB CRITIQUE

Compositionally, I think what you have done works fairly well. It feels just a touch tight on the right and left though, and I was wondering what it might look like if it were a bit wider. It is a cool effect, and I think you could probably get several different crops that all work out of it.
Technically, it is exposed well and the colors are nice. I also like that the texture is visible in the shot.
All of that said, technically, it was a nicely done shot. However, the "illusion" just wasn't strong enough to make it terribly interesting or compelling, and I think that shows in your score.

| Very interesting. I love the colors and textures. I'm really surprised this didn't score higher. I like the blue, but I think it would also be a very nice image with the top cropped. Square crop would be simple and strong. |

| Very graphic and great colors. I would have like to see a touch more space on top. (I don't like to have elements just touching the edge of the image.) |
