Shadows in the sand, my daughter and I.

um, our hips and butts aren't that big.

really.

adding: there are two overlays actually. one of cracked earth and another of a cracked wall.

You look fashionable & mythical at the same time. A modern cave-painting.

Excellent overlay - Textures really give the effect of a crusty, well worn rendered wall

Excellent use of overlays. By using the shadows, the subject still retains a smooth sense.

LOL, I didn't think your hips and butt look big! I really like this overlay. I tried to do a drawing very similar to this and found it very difficult. I really like how yours turned out.

The fluidity of your shadows is a nice contrast to the dry, parched earth.

They look fine to me. Sultry and story telling. It makes you want to know more about what is going on with the gowned silhouettes :)

Nice image, a keepsake for you both. It looks as if it's a wall sometimes instead of sand. Funny, they almost look like cardboard cutouts, must be because we don't see any lines defining the legs. Cool shot.

Really neat overlay, I love the cracks in the shadows they weave in and out so elegantly. Wonderful shot.

This has a sort of Victorian-era flair to it...your silhouettes remind me of the dresses with bustles and the muted colors add to the antique feel. Excellent! :)
