 I met these two guys during Queen's Day - 2008 - The biggest street party in Amsterdam which attracts over 1 million foreigners each year. Like everyone else these guys had partied quite a bit during the day, and had actually arrived in Amsterdam that afternoon, not knowing a thing about the day. Evidently they had been living in Barcelona as squatters, but were kicked out of where they were living, since then they'd been jumping trains and had just come from Belgium. Unfortunately they were robbed, and lacking money they slept outside the previous night. As the day in Amsterdam slowly wound down - after more than 24 hours of revelry, the cities laissez faire attitude took it's toll on the weary travelers.

I always wanted to visit Amsterdam; but then again, after looking at this photo, maybe I shouldn't, that would probably be me right there, looking just like that. Nice Candid!

My wife is on her way to Amsterdam as we speak...she will be there for a conference (all the way from Australia) ... treat her well! Hope she doesn't run into these guys!
