Very much honored by Sir Posthumous to get his his red ribbon. *big fan*

I really like the look of the shot and for once wanted to get that wall in a still life, so the deep DOF. The shot was every so slightly cropped on the bottom and the top. To go with my Fall themed still life photos I've posted for the past 2 years, I thought it was time for Spring. Though not as colorful, I thought it'd work better in b/w(slighty sephia), to make the shapes and textures come out.

Here's an only resized and sharpened version. Shot in jpg. I think some might disagree and like the color version more. Afterall they are quite nice. Especially those pears.

There's magic in this image plus a great and pleasent composition. Congrats on the Posthumous Red. The only award with courage to recognize true pieces of art.

A very pleasing still life, particularly with the texture on the wall. My only nit would be the seashells which don't seem to either fit well with the rest of the items, or perhaps are simply too centrally placed. Still very well captured and processed.
