This is destined to remain as one of the most breathtaking images in the DPC archives. You can almost breathe the air of its spatial dimensions. Sort of grips the eye and the attention and then the experience of sheer delight. The value of the colors with the brown red tone culminating in the gray and then the white above.
Of course, the secret of its strength lies in the simple fact that it conveys the principle of the Mandala. As such it hooks the senses and one finds total relief because of the exquisite harmony. It is like a relaxing trip filled with joy and beauty which allows one to drop one's guard and enjoy the moment. |

This still remains one of my all time favorites here. The sheer force of depth with the beautiful filtered light is wonderful to look at, and the detail captured is incredible. |

Thanks everyone! For those of you who want more information about this shot, the Royal Armouries Website tells me that this is 'The Hall of Steel, a giant staircase whose walls are decorated with trophy displays composed of 2,500 objects reminiscent of the historical trophy displays erected by the Tower Armouries from the 17th century'.
The Royal Armouries in Leeds has been around for about 10 years, and took a lot of the displays from the Tower of London. Lucky for Leeds, unlucky for London. The architecture of the building is wonderful, and admission is free. Picture taking is allowed, and no signs or people prohibited using tripods when I was there. I thoroughly recommend it to photographers. There's a great display of oriental arms and armour at the moment. |

Geez, Bobster, I could have sworn I left a glowing comment about this. It was certainly my favorite and I gave it a 10....Don't know what happened to the comment. Perhaps the schools boys gave it the heave ho somehow or other during the Prank. LOL! Great Shot! RoB |

I don't really know what this is, but it almost feels like it is the place where Darth Vader tangles with Luke Skywalker as he exclaims, "Luke, this is your destiny!"
I love the perspective! |
