I am *so* jealous!!! That is one gorgeous bird and you captured him beautifully. I might crop tighter on top (you've got the detail for it) but that's a nit. Just lovely.

I mean like wow! An ordinary Bluebird has never looked so unordinary. Spot on focus and a natural earth tone background totally rank this one at the top for me. +10 for me! -BB

Nice bluebird Richard. Since I'm sure this is yours I'll just comment. It wouldn't be fair to vote knowing it was yours. I love the silky smooth bokeh and the detail in the feathers. The composition is a little centered for me but that's just a nit pic. You know me, I like it close up and in your face. heheh
Congrats, if I'd voted it would be an 8+.

Now that is one in your face come mate with me male. The colours are bright and true, the backgrounds muted colours work well to show of his colour. The twigs give a little spike to an otherwise smooth shot. well done great capture

The contrast between the vivid blue and the neutral background and reddish-green twigs is excellent. Lovely sharp detail.
