 The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Sepia is something old or nostalgic. I had a bunch of antique spoons that I've been wanting to photograph and figured this Challenge would be a good chance to try them out. The base of the photo is nothing more than textured paper, and I thought this would look old and simple to match the spoons. I laid the spoons out randomly so the photo wouldn't look too stiff and set up. The photo was taken on my floor with muted, natural lighting to minimize harsh reflections off of the spoons. I rotated, cropped, adjusted black/white points, converted to B&W, and used the hue/saturation slider to obtain the Sepia tone...

This is beautiful. I love the framing of it, the two truncated bowls. there's a beguiling flow to this image, and the textures are palpable. I hope it does well for you.

I really like this, the textured wood the spoons are lying on has so much character and suits the antique spoons so well. The big size and square crop are also assets to the photo.
