 What kind of an "All Creatures Great and Small" side challenge participant would I be if I didn't include a picture of the greatest creature of them all. . .well. . .at least she is the matriarch of the 3 greatest creatures of them all (My other dog Millie, and my cat Smudge being the other 2 :) But they've both been in recent challenges.

Lacey is the light of my life. She will be 15 in July. She still gets around pretty good tho, but some days, she is starting to show her age. I am thankful from the bottom of my heart for every single day I have with her.

they are the keepers of all of our secrets aren't they..and yet they continue to love us.
Beautiful portrait of Lacey and I wish you at least 15 more good years (tho I know this is unlikely and the heartbreak is out there, i have a 13 yr old cat...)

oh one more thing Sandy, CATS RULE & DOGS DROOL!!! hehehehe

This is one of the best pet portraits I've seen...such softness and sharpness, right where they need to be...and you have captured her vulnerability as well as her sweet attentiveness. Excellent image, and I'm so glad you have had such a sweet friend for the last 15 years...prayers for the best of times every day she has left with your family. :)
