Local theatre that does date back to 1917. Yes, I know that swing music did not happen till the 1930's, but thought that using the exact date of Theatre opening was cool.

Post Challenge - I protest this score! (not really). I guess making a photo look noisy, old, and faded on purpose sort of impies lots of 2's and 3's in the voting. Sigh....

The only saving grace for me in this is the retro theatre. As others have pointed out, the lack of contrast was a mistake. You can make a photo look "noisy, old, and faded" without necessarily losing all contrast. Is "Old Photo, with motte" some sort of filter?

Seems like it could use some more contrast to bring out the details in the bricks, lights and tree branches. I also wish I could see the sidewalk to ground me a bit.

Feels old, but lacks interest for me.

Could use more contrast imho, but doesn't really grab me, but the movie showing sounds like it has possibilities :) :) :)

Was it stormy outside because it looks like it was shot during a winter storm. Tones are way too flat to have impact. I see the sun shining on the branches now so I guess it wasn't storming out. A little more contrast would help this image tremendously.

nice idea but think the tree is a little distracting
