Great capture! I love hummingbirds and spend way too many hours trying to get "the-perfect-shot". Keeps me out of trouble, I guess. ;) |

WOW SANDY .. !! TA-DAAAAAAA IS RIGHT !!
apparently its the most difficult thing to photograph a hummingbird .. i've read comments by other photographer's about the lengths they went to to capture one of these .. i take my hat off to you .. figuratively speaking of course, coz i'm not actually wearing one at the moment .. !! .. would look pretty funny sitting at the computer wearing a hat .. !!
just love the colouring and particularly love those little curling feet .. a wonderful and excellent photograph ... :)
i'll try and find the photographer's comments i was talking about and send you the link .. i think they set up lights & feed ..the camera on a tripod all ready and stood away with the shutter release etc .. the lights coz they move so fast .. also flash i think .. :)x

I think it's perfect...they are so elegant and dainty. You've captured their beauty and their speed in one image. I love it!! :) |

Sandy - absolutely beautiful capture! It's still a bit cold for those guys to show up around here, but I only hope I can capture one half as well as you did here |

For someone who supposedly struggled, I guess I have no chance :) Beautiful colors and angle. And look at those tiny little feet...! |
