Margie, this is beautiful! BEAUTIFUL the way the flowers are reflected in the dew!

this would have been such a great photo if the clarity was spot on, unfortunately its noisy and the whole image looks oversharpened.

Overall, a good effort with lots of visual appeal. Lots of grainy nose visible, though. Some noise removal in PP, or shooting at a lower ISO could have helped. Keep an eye on your JPEG compression settings as well, the allowed size is 150k, and your file size of 95k indicates more compression than was needed. Always use the least amount of compression you can get away with and still slip under the file size limit.

Good idea, but the image looks a little noisy and pixelated, maybe you tried zooming in digitally which in this case worked against you. The droplets are sharp, but the rest of the image takes away from it

Pic is a bit oof. Not a crisp.

Lots of noise and rough looking probaly due to your camera but nice colour background.

Could be sharper.

I like the use of maltiple dew drops and how they're reflecting

I like the reflections in the drops.

great close up shot good detail

This picture isn't very sharply focused. The reflection in the water drops is very good though.
04/27/2008 08:28:54 AM
the overall sharpness of your image makes it stand out

Oh hey, another plant macro. Neat.

Lovely. The colors are very nice, and the duo drops are great.

For this to work, the focus on the flower in the drop has to be very sharp. The sharp focus in the top droplet is the tree at the bottom of the drop. Also, the shot looks grainy to me. I think the reflection on the top of the drops adds to the picture, as does the almost-solid yellow background. You might run this through a purple fringe filter (it that's legal in basic).

hopefully this is doing well for you...nice 7

A nice try but there is a lot of noise in this 6

I never tried a refraction shot like this. So I can't say too much about the blossom in focus within the drops. I give you a lot of credit to try and be as sucessful as this picture.

neat idea but something feels wrong in this shot, I cant figure it out rite now though....
04/23/2008 08:15:22 AM
