Thank you all for comments! Yes, I should have worked more on the composition of this one and the colors are boring, but this was shot on a rainy-to-be morning just before a microscopy workshop I was attending started. The colors here are in fact boosted, you should see the boring original...

beautifully composed shot. the varied shapes, colors, and textures create a very captivating photo. i especially ilke the wire in the bottom right, it gives the whole image a curved feeling.

A very good idea. Nice focus, but the color could always be boosted a bit. It's a little flat.

it seems like there is too much going on in this shot...its like my eyes move everywhere and get confused

too busy for my taste. especially the background in the middle. the power line in the foregound leads me right out of your picture
