the idea is sound but without the title I couldn't see what it is meant to be.
The only blurred part should be the iron IMHO

If it weren't for the title I would not know what this picture was. The lack of identity spoils the picture. Sorry.

Without the title, I would never be able to tell what this is. It's interesting maybe as an experiment in technique, but the photo itself doesn't hold my interest.

I don’t know to messy for meâ€Â¦.

If you had kept your iron in one place longer for part of the exposure or used a bounced flash, it would have made it stand out more. That way the viewer wouldn't have try and figure out where the iron is in the image. If it wasn't for your title I really would have had no idea what it was. I really think your idea was good but it was not executed as well as it could have been. Hope this was helpful. :)

I can see that the table is still sharp, but the iron is too blurry to tell its an iron. Perhaps a little slower movement would have created blur, yet let you know that it is still an iron.

The theme here is good. Black and white also seems to work well. I believe this is a case of a tad too much blur to support your theme. The title tells me what I'm looking at, but without that, I would have had a difficult time determining the subject. A little less blur would probably help add some definition without losing the theme of motion blur.. = 5
