 I had a very difficult time deciding whether to submit to the even or the odd challenge... ultimately, my wife decided this was the stronger shot. I'm crossing my fingers.

This was shot while out shooting for the current macro challenge - I really like the off-center composition and yellow on yellow colors. This is a close-up of the wheel hub of a John Deere combine.

Post processing was very simple - a quick histogram adjustment in PSP8, then resized, sharpened, and submitted.

Nice and sharp with good detail, but it's not wowing me. Perhaps the broad yellow wants to be much bolder.

Conceptually great and well composed. Lighting seems a little dull in places.

I like the simplicity of this shot. It allowed you to have an uneven (non-symmetrical) shot that still clearly conveyed the concept of even. I wish the lighting was a bit more even.

Yellow is def a popping color, bolts are pretty even, lol, nice shot in all, good eye!
