 My niece during dance competition.

Maybe a bit too much negative space for some. Also, usually taking pictures of performing arts isn't the best bet.

However, for me . I love the photo.
Alas, I always get jaggies sometimes, bad Capture NX, bad.

I find this stunning. Not only is she alone on the stage, she's alone in accomplishing her desires. This really is an inspirational image.

I like the negative space in this shot. It gives the feel of a live performance on a large stage. She is quite accomplished -- what strength it must take to hold that pose.

Ha! We are neighbors this time. I didn't vote in the challenge but I did scan thru and remember this one. I thought it was quite creative. I love how you titled the photo based off the pose. The background is beautiful too. Ahh I wish I was that flexible. :)

This one has enormous amounts of potential - I wish you'd been a bit more imaginative with the composition rather than the subject been just slightly offset which doesn't really create much interest. A bit more contrast would help as well I think.

wonderful pose on the dancer - i just don't know about the choice of composition - it seems unbalanced to me - cropping the right half of the image might work better in my mind
