GREETINGS FROM THE COMMENT BOMB SQUAD!
I AM JUST GOING THROUGH YOUR PORTFOLIO STOPPING AT IMAGES THAT CATCH MY EYE WHICH ALSO HAVEN'T HAD MANY PREVIOUS COMMENTS. I ENJOY THIS SHOT AS AN EXAMPLE OF YOUR SIGNATURE STYLE WITH IT'S SQUARE CROP WHERE THE SUBJECT FILLS THE FRAME! HERE THE COLORS AND CONTRAST AND TEXTURE OF THE FOB REALLY STAND OUT AS THE KEY ELEMENTS OF THE PHOTO. I LOVE THE ANTIQUE DETAILS EMBOSSED ON THE FACE AND IT REALLY HAS GREAT CHARACTER! YOU HAVE SHOWED IT WELL HERE! |

You did get closer and focus on one spot - the face of the watch. This is a fine macro, Shez. What a keepsake - lovely intricacy in the decoration and coloring. |

Shez, very surprised this didn't score higher. Nice choice of subject. |

This is outstanding, Shez - it looks like a painting. The metal tones come out beautifully.
Of course this is a macro. I think the commenter below may not know what a fob watch is and thought it was a big clock.
Anyway - I think this should have rated higher. |

What a beautiful watch! My husband loves it. I like the photo, and I don't agree with ConcreteDonkey's comment that it isn't a proper macro. |

nice photo, but for macro you would have needed to get closer to the subject and focus on 1 spot. |
