I think a shallower DOF would have helped to improve this idea. |

It has potential, perhaps shoot these flowers in the early am or late afternoon. For better lighting, mood, and warmth. One rule is to not shoot a photo with direct sunlight. Try to advoid as much as possiable. It causes the photo to look and feel harsh and blown out....unless this is what you wanted. Good luck! |

This is a very unusual viewpoint. With the subject so close to the camera and the long vista behind. I'm not sure if it works but I find it intriguing. |

see you've tried a unique pov here... perfect dof. i find my eye stopping at the bright flowers -- nothing pulls my eye through the frame until I get to the blue sky. while back there, there is nothing interesting to see (imho) |

Your composition, crop and color are excellent to my eye. I only wish for more focus on the nearest poppies. |
