Why aren't the wheels in motion and where is the driver? Must be a die cast model...

This would look more realistic if there was a driver. 6

such a pity htta the wheels are cut off a bit, otherwise a stunning image

Is this a model car with a moving background to create the blur? Did you cut off the tires so as not to show the table it was sitting on? All in all, though, pretty realistic looking with effective lighting to make it look like outdoor light, even if not evenly lit throughout.

Hmm you must be one of 5 guys in the WORLD to have this car :) lucky

Blur done by photoshop, there is no driver in the car, tires are cut out, failing score !

where did you see this car? i'm skeptical.

the green is a little distracting. I'm also not sure about cutting off the bottom of the tires, but I guess you didn't want the curb in the shot, however, it is advanced edditing, so if that is the case, I would have cloned the curb out. That's just my guess.

The cars looks to static too me to suggest real motion, weels are not turning.

Is this a model? If so, you're a bloody genius, because I really can't tell - I only became suspicious because there are bugger all of these cars parked around grassy slopes for people to take pictures of... Did you try taking pictures of it after someone gave it a push? Lighting is very stylish, and I think it fits the challenge well enough... 9.

:::Mouth Watering::: But where''s the driver?
03/29/2004 11:24:11 AM
I would say this is panning, but no one is in the car... the left of the photo is also very dark.

You shouldn't have cut the wheels...
03/29/2004 04:35:24 AM
Is it on top of a truck or something?

Motion blur doesn't work for me at all here, as it is curved. Also, the wheels on the car are not blurred, so I don't the impression of any speed at all. I don't like the crop... the wheels look unintentionally chopped off. The car doesn't seem very sharp. Sorry to be so down on you, as it was a great idea, and I really like the graduated green.

This photo has some nice blur effect. The problem is that the wheel blur should be in conjunction with the blur of the background in a pan shot like this :) The lack of surface also creates a tad of undue tension... = 5
