Pretty simple. Took this shot while walking the dog. Two yellow canoes, two grey canoes, four in total... sounds all even to me!

Taken in RAW, some saturation and exposure adjustments, USM. That's it for editing.

it could have been better if you had focused on the water.

The point of view is unfortunate. Higher would have been better, but I'm sure that wasn't an option. They need more separation though.

Great composition, I like the fact the boats are not in a straight line

I think maybe this shot wouldve worked better if you cut out the house in the background and maybe got more of the top of the canoes (i think they are) but still very nice

I have 2 commnet: the first one is that you pciture appears to be very flat. a boost incontrast through levels or curves would imporve the colors and add depth. the second one: your composition could be much improved. the sky does not add anything to your picture, so show less of it. The house to the left - the same. your main objects, the 4 kayaks take up the least of space in your picture. It seems like you took this pis frm the height of your hip. Going down is a good idea. Try to go even lower AND a lot closer to your subjects/objects. Try to show us your objects at an unusual angle. The way it is, your picture looks more like a random shot than a composed and thought through picture.
