Two monolights behind perforated poster board, one snoot (with duct tape 'barn doors' and honeycomb) aimed to tilted white stirofoam which in turn lit the 'sky'; the 'barn doors' prevented the snoot from lighting the poster board directly and allowed a bit of light to be spilled on the trees. One flash light covered with red cellophane paper inside a light guide (shipping tube made of cardboard) to paint the hint of city light (sunset?) glow, and, a pocket flashlight to shine on the little house's windows for a split second. Flash units were set on 'rear courtain' and triggered by radio.

The shot starts by opening the shutter locked on bulb, in total darkness; next, I painted the red glow, then shinned the flashlight on the windows, then closed the shutter, upon which the flash guns fired, that's it.

This is the unprocessed and un-cropped image
