 I had shot another dandelion gone to seed over the weekend. They are hard as heck to get home intact to shoot in the studio. I found another yesterday. It was a good size but lost many of its seeds on the short walk bome. But it looked like it lost them in just the right place to give a nice cross section shot.

Shot with the camera on tripod and cable remote.

Post: Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Invert. Another layer of hue/sat converting the color inversion to BW. A final layer of hue/sat, colorize to convert to sepia. Sharpen. Resize Sharpen.

very intersting image, the details and varying textures are great.

hint: carry a baggie with you at all times, keeps those little things intact! :)
