Well, no great shock on the score, but I still like it.

Shot on an outing with friends at a nature center. I flipped it vertically so the trees would be coming from the bottom, hoping to induce at least a momentary sense of confusion about which way was up.

Almost became my second-ever entry with no comments, but Sher saved me. I also gotta say thanks to thelobster for the fave on this low-scoring shot.

You're awfully spoiled if you think that 5.2 is low-scoring. :) I thought this was an engaging abstract, and I like how the rocks peek in here and there to frame it all.

I meant to comment on this during the challenge but ran out of time. The thing I liked most about this was how your water looked like mercury. I love the slick shiny metallic look it has. Reflections are fun to photograph and this one is pretty cool.

What are you talking about? I still don't know which way up is!

It takes a minute to figure out this is water, but it is a very interesting composition and lovely reflection.

not a bad shot but it's a bit hectic. there isn't a clear subject or a place for my eyes to rest. your exposure is good and the inclusion of the rocks/ice (?) adds some interest.
