Had some great skies today. Storm front moving in and I almost missed it. Couldn't stand looking at the sky anymore (was outside doing yardwork) and decided to make a run for a local park. By the time I got to the end of our road it was downpouring. Almost gave up then I noticed a small break forming. Went ahead drove to the park and waited out the rain. Glad I did! :-)

Had to save this at 16 compression to get under 150kb. :-/ Introduced some grain to the sky this way that wasn't in the pre-jpg.
That small circle by the base of the tree...I thought it was sensor dust at first showing up. It's actually a small circle formed in the grass that's darker. Animal? |

I very much like the sepia negative approach for this - quite fitting to the photograph. I also like the foreground tree and the one it frames - they seem to be the watchmen over the fields. |

I like this shot and it oddly works as a negative but I want to see more of the landscape and less tree trunk. Good luck. |
