nice shot; i would say even very nice shot; i love the colours... and the position of the subject, as if he is extremely angry with the sea for not offerring him a "support" to climb on...
i would have tried a slightly different angle...
good job though!

nice photo it but looks a little too much like something set-up for the challenge as opposed to an anomaly you would happen upon at the beach, maybe color would have helped disspell that impression

This picture might work better for me if it was more obvious that this man was a mountain climber. I think making the man a larger part of the composition would help and possibly making the picture a color image would help with this..
