 Spring in Oklahoma means tornado season - that's the first thing that popped into my head when the challenge came up. Cropped, changed to sepia, sharpened.

The lighting seems a bit harsh, and also I wonder how the color version would work.... but the tilt is excellent!

I love this and am declaring this my pick of the challenge. Technically it's probably not perfect (not sure how I feel about the slightly OOF background), but in terms of imagination, composition, and artistry it's a winner. A nine for you.

You know, I think this wooden figurine is used so much that it takes away from the impact your image can have. B&W is flat, too grey.
