I think that the lighting is spot on, and he eyes are great. I am a fan of the negative space as well. My favorite so far.

Nice shot, but personally I'd like to see much of the black croped out and the rest expanded to maximum size.

Nice idea but the crop is a little too awkward and the image looks like it has been cropped from a picture that was taken much further away.
